Hi renovators! Naomi Findlay your Rapid Renovation Expert here!
Did you know I have a renovation course? You can check it out here!
In my career, I visit a lot of houses and one of the most common questions I get bombarded with is, how and when should I prune my hedge?
Today, Aaron from Green Envy Landscape and Gardening Services joined me to discuss all things hedges.
key points:
- Avoid pruning your hedge during the warm months if you wish to preserve your plant’s flowers.
- Spring and summer are the flowering and growing seasons for most hedges.
- When pruning, you should only cut to a level where the hedge is still soft. It is extremely difficult for new growth to come out of hardwood.
- Regular pruning is required so that you do not have to cut your hedges down too far.
