Add Some Life

Bringing flowers or greenery into a room makes a huge difference, making it feel more complete. They do not need to break the bank either; supermarkets, fruit shops and local markets usually offer affordable options. Positioning your flowers into different basins is also a fun way to freshen up a space – play with jars, tins, bottles, anything you can find!

Spruce Up Your Coffee Table

Your coffee table is another surface to style, make it beautiful! Think of it as a space that displays your favourite things, or the things you love. Have a play around with a stack of your most aesthetically pleasing books, candles, flowers, potted plants or succulents, or even a tray.

Move It Around

Remove all of your trinkets, photo frames, vases, books, anything you’ve accessorised your living room with, from their homes. Give them all a dust and freshen up, and begin repositioning them somewhere else in the room. You never know what you can create with what you already own! This tip is great if you are looking to save money, and so effective in freshening up your living room.

When Was The Last Time That Was Washed?!

Cushion covers, throws and rugs might not look dirty but if you begin to think about the amount of people, pets, shoes and feet they have come into contact with, there is no way they’re clean! Freshen them up every few months to keep them looking their best.

Try Something New

Treat yourself to a new pattern, texture or colour for your living room. A new cushion, throw, lamp or accessory can make a whole new impact in your space.

Learn the 3 core frameworks all home stagers need to stand out in the crowd and attract their ideal clients!
