- A lot more colour is being used in outdoor spaces, such as white and grey, as opposed to in previous years where timber and brown have been most prominent.
- Smart technology is being introduced into outdoor spaces, this ranges from heating and lighting that can be controlled via an app to outdoor speakers, kitchens and built-in barbecues.
- Fire pits continue to rise in popularity.
- Outdoor spaces are transforming into functional and liveable spaces – less of large lawn taking up majority of the space. Fire pit and living areas are breaking up the yard into different destinations in the space.
