Key Points: 

• Mental Preparation

During your kitchen reno things are going to be challenging, and put you and everyone else in the house out of your comfort zone, so it is important to know what you’re getting yourself into.

• Declutter

Get rid of anything you don’t use anymore, and pack away anything you won’t be using on an everyday basis during your renovation.

• Create a DIY Kitchen

With no fridge, no oven and no bench space you will need to find an open bench space with plenty of power points somewhere else in your house. Here you can set up a microwave, kettle and camping cooker.

• Create a DIY Washing Area

With no kitchen sink to wash up, the dirty dishes will begin to stack up. Consider using the laundry sink or quarantine off the bath as your temporary wash up zone.
